Traverse and Elevation Mechanism

Traverse and Elevation Mechanism (T&E) is a device used with mounted machine guns to provide fine control over horizontal (traverse) and vertical (elevation) aiming. It allows the operator to adjust fire direction precisely without shifting the entire mount or vehicle. T&E units are commonly used on tripods and vehicle-mounted weapon stations, especially for .50 BMG machine guns like the Browning M2.
